Health and Education Together: Go Kapilvastu 2025

Connecting community health and education through collaboration.

From November 22 to 26, 2025, Go Kapilvastu brought a five-day community health and education initiative to the Chandrauta area of Shivraj Municipality, Nepal.

The program brought together local communities, teachers, social workers, healthcare professionals, and volunteers from different backgrounds. Activities included health screenings, health education, medical training, and school-based events.

Supporting Community Health

The team worked with local healthcare and community partners to understand available resources and support health screening activities in different settings.

The official project report records 85 screenings at Chanai–Madrasah and 52 student screenings at Dharmnagar School. These figures represent documented screening counts rather than a verified number of unique individuals.

The initiative also included healthy living education, practical medical training, and the distribution of relevant support materials.

Bringing Health Education into Schools

At Dharmnagar School, volunteers and healthcare professionals worked with teachers on student health education and related activities.

The program concluded with a school festival on November 26, featuring cultural exchanges, games, and shared activities involving students, teachers, and volunteers.

Built on Local Cooperation

The official project report emphasizes the contributions of local community members, volunteers, teachers, social workers, doctors, nurses, and other participants.

For Taiwan Mother Hen Society, meaningful international cooperation begins with understanding local needs and working alongside the people and organizations already serving their communities.

This story documents a completed collaborative initiative. It does not claim that a short-term program resolved every health or educational challenge in the area.
